Mark is a Certified P.O.S.T. Firearms Instructor with over 33 years of experience, including 27 years as a full-time SWAT officer. As a seasoned SWAT veteran and current Denver firearms instructor, Mark specializes in teaching concealed carry, basic and advanced handgun, basic and advanced rifle, as well as tactical training. His expertise is built on decades of real-world experience, including responding to thousands of high-risk, life-threatening situations as a member of the Denver SWAT team.

"I started my journey with Magnum Rams, a breaching company where I personally designed and fabricated breaching equipment for Denver SWAT and the patrol division. This evolved into training patrol officers in breaching techniques and crisis entry tactics.

During one of my classes, I observed a civilian student, who was a CCW holder, mistakenly loading pistol rounds into their magazine backward. It was a moment of realization—there was a significant gap between practical, hands-on training and simply earning a CCW certificate. With my extensive knowledge and experience, I saw an opportunity to help more people learn how to handle firearms safely and effectively. My mission is to teach others based on decades of real-world expertise, not just theory."
